ACCREDITATION AND AFFILIATION

The Presbyterian University College, its campuses and all programmes have been accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of Ghana. The NAB also stipulates that proposed universities be  established as university colleges and be affiliated to already established and accredited university. For this reason the Presbyterian University College is affiliated to the University of Ghana. The implication of this is that the University of Ghana shall oversee the growth and academic activities of this College and jointly award the degrees of the College until this College is given the  Presidential Charter to award its own degrees. The charter then gives the College the autonomy to operate as a full-fledged university.
