The Principal of the College
A Welcome Message From the President

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, as a pioneer of education in the country, has established several schools at the doorstep of the rural community in efforts to fulfill her God given duty to offer education to all, especially the socially deprived. It is the same concept that is behind the establishment of the Presbyterian Univesity College, hence the decision to concentrate the university at Abetifi (Okwahu), Akropong (Akuapem) and Agogo (Asante-Akyem). These campuses are expected to interact closely with their surrounding communities in terms of development, through the opening of outreach centres and the integration of its students into the residential communities.

The Presbyterian University College opened her first campus, Okwahu Campus, on 24th November 2003 with two modern and emerging disciplines in Business Admimistration, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Since then, the College has Expanded rapidly with the opening of the Akuapem Campus in January 2007 and the Asante-Akyem Campus in September 2007. From the two initial undergraduate programmes the Presbyterian University College currently offers about ten (10) full programmes; more are wait to be accredited.

In terms of discipline, the Presbyterian Univestiy College expects that the proverbial 'Presbyterian Discipline' will be brought to bear on the teching and the learning process so that our products will be men and women imbued with ethical and intellectual values that manifest in courage, discipline, fair play , self motivation and respect for the dignity of an honest life. Parents and students are assured that they will not regret being part of a Presbyterian University. It is my prayer that you will support us in any way possible so that this College will carve an important niche for itself and grow to become one of the best universities in the world.

Welcome once again and thank you for your interest in PUC.
