The Presbyterian University College, Ghana seeks well qualified, energetic and dynamic persons with vision and initiative to teach in the University College.

 Lecturership Positions Available are in the Following Programmes:

  • BSc. Mathematics
  • BSc. Information and Communication Technology
  • BSc. Business Administration
  • BSc. Nursing
  • BSc. Physician Assistant

(Candidates having background qualification in: Computer Science/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering with considerable experience in information technology could apply to teach BSc. Information and Communication Technology).

Qualification and Experience

Senior Lecturer

Candidate must have Ph.D/M.Phil. with not less than four (4) years teaching/research experience in a university or comparable institution in the relevant areas of specialization with a number of refereed publications in their areas of specialization.

Professor/Associate Professor

Candidates must possess Ph.D/M.Phil. in the relevant area of specialization. In addition, candidates must have considerable number of years of teaching/research experience at a university or comparable institution with a considerable number of refereed publications since appointment as Lecturer/Research Fellow

Sabbatical Leave Applicants

The College will consider candidates who may wish to use their Sabbatical Leave or Two- Year Pre/Post Retirement Years in order to avail themselves of the positions.

Job Description

Successful candidates will be required to teach courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels, supervise graduate and undergraduate research/project work, and offer academic counselling to students. Again, candidates will be required to participate in departmental research programmes and contribute immensely to the development/growth of the departments and the community.
