Programme Location: Akuapem Campus, Akropong
The programme offers courses that meet educational, economic, social and political challenges of Ghana and other countries using English as a second language. It offers stidents the requisite language/literary skill to make them effective in their job situation and to pursue future career objectives.
The Level 100 courses have been designed to eliminate the traditional Language/Literature divide.
The new design prioritizes the teaching of the four basic language skills at Levels 100 and 200:
Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
Beyond Levels 100 and 200, the syllabus seeks the development and consolidation of the language and literary skills needed for higher English studies and also the preparation of students for specialization, research and future professional interests
