Programme Location: Akuapem Campus, Akropong
On completing the degree prpgramme in Akan, the graduate should be have a good command of the writing and reading of all the three written dialects of the language: Akuapem, Asante and Fante. The graduate should understand and appreciate the literature and custom of the speakers of the various dialects of Akan and also differenciate between and produce appropriate registers in the language.
