Section A: DEGREE PROGRAMMES
Candidates could apply for admission to read the under listed programmes in the Presbyterian University College, Ghana.
a) Okwahu Campus, Abetifi

c) Asante-Akyem Campus, Agogo
- BSc. Nursing
This is a 4-year degree programme leading to the award of BSc. (Nursing) and is based at the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital.
BASIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR ALL PROGRAMMES:
The minimum entry requirements into the respective programmes are as follows:
a) SSSCE/WASSCE/GBEC Applicants must have passed in three core subjects including English, Mathematics and Integrated Science (with grade D/C4 or better in each core subject) and three relevant elective subjects with a total aggregate of 24 or better.
b) Advanced Level Certificate Holders/RSAIII/ABEC
Three (3) GCE Advanced Level passes (including General Paper) at Grade D or better in the following subjects: Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics or any other three (3) Arts subjects or any three (3) science subjects, plus five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English and Mathematics at grade 6 or better. (Candidates with two A Level subjects of an average of ‘C’ may be considered).
c) HND APPLICANTS
HND holders with two years working experience in addition to the basic qualification at SSSCE/WASSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level may be admitted into the Second Year of the programme. While HND First Class and Second Class Upper holders with relevant background may be considered for level 300. All HND candidates would be admitted after an interview.
d) Mature Applicants
Mature Applicants must have attained the age of 25 years or above with five (5) credits in five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level or six (6) SSSCE/WASSCE/GBEC subjects including English Language and Mathematics; and must have three years relevant working experience in addition to passing an aptitude test and an interview. Special Examinations will be organized for mature applicants who have weak passes in GCE ‘O’ Level/SSSCE/WASSCE English and Mathematics.
SPECIAL DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENT
Ø BSc. Business AdministrationApplicants must have three good elective passes in SSSCE/WASSCE/GBCE in any of the following: Business / General Arts/Science/Visual Arts/Home Economics.
ØBSc. / BA Information and Communication Technology
Applicants must have any three good passes in any SSSCE/WASSCE elective subjects including Mathematics. Candidates without elective mathematics but have grade C or better in Core Mathematics and Integrated Science may be considered.
Ø BSc. Mathematics
Applicants must have any three good passes in any SSSCE/WASSCE elective subjects including Mathematics.
Ø BSc. Economics
Applicants should have read and have a good grade in Elective Mathematics
Ø B. A. Languages (Akan, English and French):
Applicants should have read and obtained a good pass in the chosen language of study.
Ø BSc. Environmental and Natural Resources Management
Applicant must have three good passes in any three elective science subjects
Ø BSc Nursing
i) Six SSSCE/WASSCE passes with an aggregate of 24 or better in three core subjects
(Mathematics, Integrated Science and English Language having scored a grade not below D or C4 in each core subjects) plus three electives. The electives should be any of the under listed subjects:
A. Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics
B. General Arts
C. General Agriculture with Chemistry
D. Home Economics with Food and Nutrition
ii) Mature Students
Holders of SRN and Diploma in Nursing with three (3) years experience will be admitted for top-up courses as follows:
a) SRN Holders-Level - 200
b) Diploma Holders - Level 300.
Section B: MODULAR PROGRAMMES
i) Long Vacation Modular ProgrammeThe College runs Long Vacation Modular Programme in the following programmes:
¨ BSc. Business Administration
¨ BSc Information and Communication Technology
¨ BSc. Business Economics
¨ BSc. Mathematics
¨ BSc. Environmental and Natural Resources Management
¨ B. A. Rural and Community Development Studies
Candidates enrolled in this programme will use Four (4) long vacations of 12weeks duration each to earn a degree. Application forms are on sale for the Long Vacation Modular Programme for 2008/2009 Academic Year which will start in June, 2009.
ii) Weekend Modular Programme
This is an intensive non-residential weekend programme which will use 15 weekends to cover a semester’s work of a minimum of 18 credit hours. Candidates who enrol in the programme will use 4 years to complete the undergraduate Programme of Studies in either BSc. Business Administration or BSc. / BA Information and Communication Technology.

Mature Applicants must have attained the age of 25years.

A set of two Application Forms, together with copies of Admission requirements and pre-paid EMS envelope cost fifty Ghana cedis (GH¢50) payable by Bankers Draft or Cash.
