Presbyterian University College Wins KDA Award

The Presbyterian University College, Ghana has won The Achievers Award, Education category of the Kwahu Development Association (KDA) for the year 2015.

The presentation was made at an impressive KDA Awards Night on Sunday 27th March, 2015 in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary celebration of the enstoolment of Nana Afari Obuagyan III, as the Obohene at Obo Kwahu.

KDA in collaboration with Life Liberty Foundation gave the award in recognition of the University’s impact on society especially in the Kwahu area through the delivery of higher education.

This feat adds to a number of awards won by the University recently in recognition of its effective delivery of quality higher education and especially so in the training of disciplined leaders.

The Presbyterian University College, Ghana which has its headquarters in Abetifi Kwahu where the University started has satellites of the Okwahu campus in three communities on the Kwahu Ridge.

The University has other campuses in Tema, Kumasi, Asante Akyem Agogo and Akropong Akuapem.

The University is opening a Department of Computer Engineering at Obo Kwahu where Computer Engineering programme will be mounted under the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Okwahu Campus.

The award was received by Nana Asare-Bediako Senior Assistant Registrar in the office of the President, Ms. Mavis Kissi, Assistant Registrar Cooperate Affairs and Ms. Jacqueline Dabi-Dankwah of the Finance Department of PUCG, Okwahu Campus.
