President of PUCG Visits Peyer Congregation, Bantama

The President of Presbyterian University College, Ghana has visited the Peyer Congregaion, Bantama of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in the quest of the University to garner support for the University in the area of infrastructure development.

Rev. Professor Emmanuel Adow Obeng was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Rosilta Adow Obeng and Rev. Joseph Kofi Antwi the Public Relations Officer and Acting Chaplain of the University.

The President reiterated that the University needs support from the Church for infrastructural development so that it can to compete favourably on the private tertiary education scene. Failure to invest in PUCG will place serious challenges in the development path of the University.

Even though the University is performing excellently well academically in all the academic programmes, inadequate infrastructure is hindering the rapid expansion to mounting of new programmes.

The President also encouraged parents to send their wards to PUCG where Presbyterian discipline is emphasized in nurturing students to become great leaders.

He implored the congregation and individual members to help build a University that the Church and everyone will be proud of.
