POSITION/JOB DESCRIPTION

The Public Relations Officer of Presbyterian University College, Ghana is the Head of the Public Relations Office under the supervision of the Registrar and is in Charge of:

  • Planning, developing, and implementing publicity strategies and campaigns;
  • Designing, writing and/or providing presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, reports, publicity brochures, etc;
  • Planning and implementing admission drive strategies;
  • Providing the University’s publics with appropriate and adequate information about the University

 

QUALIFICATION

The applicant must have the following academic qualification:
1.  MPhil./MBA by research in the following areas:

  • Public Relations
  • Marketing
  • Communications
  • Journalism

2.   A member of Chartered Institute of Public Relations/Chartered Institute of Marketing/ the Institute of Public Relations Association

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of one year experience as a Public Relations/ Marketing/ Communications Officer in a Tertiary education institution or industry.
