Presbyterian University College, Ghana Excels in ICT Competition

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) placed 2nd in its maiden appearance in the Present Around The World (PATW) technology competition organized by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).

The Presbyterian University College, Ghana was represented by Solomon K.N. Danquah and Joseph Obuobi Nyarko, all ICT students. PUCG was invited and welcomed as a new member to participate in the 2017 edition which was held at All Nations University College.

The winner of the competition, All Nations University will represent Ghana in Dubai for the African Chapter.

The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Present Around The World (PATW) is a well established competition with several heats designed to encourage young IT Engineers and Technicians to develop presentation skills in a fun and friendly environment.

The IET is one of the world’s leading Professional societies for the Engineering and Technology community with more than 150,000 members in 127 countries with offices in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.

The participating universities included All Nations University, Methodist University, Ghana Technology University and several individuals from other Professional IT bodies.
