Dr. Emmanuel Oheneba Agyenim-Boateng, a professional Human Resource Practitioner, University Administrator and Teacher, is the Deputy Registrar of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management (2006) and Postgraduate Diploma in Research Methods (2004) from the University of Bradford, Bradford, United Kingdom. In addition, he holds M. Phil in Educational Administration (1996) and BA (Arts) Hons. Dip Ed in Religious Studies and Akan (1989) from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana. Dr Emmanuel Oheneba Agyenim-Boateng also holds Diploma in Marketing (1983); Higher Stage Certificate in Economics and Commerce Finance (1983) as well as Teachers’ Certificate ‘A’ (1980). As a professional Human Resource Practitioner and University Administrator, Dr. Agyenim-Boateng is a member of a number of professional bodies including:

  • Member, Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA)
  • Member, Development Studies Association, United Kingdom
  • Member, Association of Commonwealth Universities’ HRM Specialists
  • Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP).

Dr. Agyenim-Boateng has won quite a number of awards including;

  • Otumffour Education Fund (¢200,000.00) to pursue a PhD programme at the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana (2000).
  • Ghana Government Scholarship to pursue a PhD programme at the University of Bradford, UK (2002)
  • GETFund Scholarship to pursue a PhD programme at the University of Bradford, UK (Did not use) (2002)
  • Ghana Government Scholarship for Good Academic Performance, Fifty Thousand Old Ghana Cedis per year to pursue a B A (Arts) Dip Ed degree at the University of Cape Coast (1986)

As a University Administrator, he has held a number of administrative positions including being:

  • Senior Administrative Assistant; Vice Chancellor’s Office (Feb. 1997 – July 1997)
  • Junior Assistant Registrar; Vice Chancellor/Pro-Vice Chancellor’s Offices (July 1997-September 1998)
  • Assistant Registrar; Pro-Vice Chancellor’s Office (October 1998 – March 2000)
  • Assistant Registrar/Training and Development Officer; Department of Training and Development (April 2000 – August 2002)
  • Senior Assistant Registrar, Division of Human Resource (January 2006 – August 2010)
  • Deputy Registrar, Division of Human Resource (April 2010 – May 2012)

(All at the University of Cape Coast).

In addition, he was the Deputy Registrar, Human Resource (2012–2015) at the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi and currently with the Presbyterian University College, Ghana as the Deputy Registrar.

As professional teacher, Dr. Agyenim-Boateng worked with the Ghana Education Service from 1980 – 1997 as a classroom teacher and a subject teacher. He has also been a Part-Time Lecturer in some renowned universities in the country including University of Cape Coast, University of Education, Winneba; Methodist University College and University College of Management Studies.

As a University Administrator, Dr. E. O. Agyenim-Boateng has severed on almost all statutory Boards and Committees including:
