{"id":5441,"date":"2016-12-12T08:33:42","date_gmt":"2016-12-12T08:33:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.presbyuniversity.edu.gh\/site\/?page_id=5441"},"modified":"2016-12-12T08:33:42","modified_gmt":"2016-12-12T08:33:42","slug":"functions-of-cplv","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.presbyuniversity.edu.gh\/site\/functions-of-cplv\/","title":{"rendered":"Functions of CPLV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The functions of the Centre for the Promotion of Life Values.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Centre for the Promotion of Life Values which is temporary placed in the School of Business and Economics will perform the following functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize seminars, workshops, training and other programmes to promote the Life Values in the University.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the teaching of mandatory University wide courses on all the various campuses of the University.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the Preliminary Programmes of the University; and<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the English and French (Language) Proficiency Unit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVE OF CPLV COURSES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objective of the <strong>Centre for the Promotion of Life Values<\/strong> (<strong>CPLV)<\/strong> is to inculcate in our graduates values and skills such as; <em>honesty, hard work, truth, determination, commitment, excellence, humility, integrity and faith in God<\/em>.
