{"id":10205,"date":"2024-12-05T15:52:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-05T15:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.presbyuniversity.edu.gh\/site\/?p=10205"},"modified":"2024-12-06T16:03:14","modified_gmt":"2024-12-06T16:03:14","slug":"job-vacancy-registry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.presbyuniversity.edu.gh\/site\/job-vacancy-registry\/","title":{"rendered":"JOB VACANCY: REGISTRY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Presbyterian University, Ghana invites applications for appointment to positions in the Registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>POSITION: <strong>PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Develop and implement strategic public relations and marketing programmes that support the overall objectives of the University.<br>\u2022 Develop content, target audiences and utilises technology to communicate with those audiences and stakeholders.<br>\u2022 Manage and promote the Presbyterian University Brand.<br>\u2022 Write and produce most official publications including newsletter, quarterly and annual reports.<br>\u2022 Serve as the official liaison with the general public, community and organisation and manage the organisation\u2019s websites.<br>\u2022 Manage Media and media relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Must have a minimum of Masters degree in Public Relations\/Marketing<br>\u2022 Must have progressive experience in PR, Marketing, fundraising, events promotion, or journalism practice.<br>\u2022 Membership of the Institute of Public Relations\/ Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana and experience in a University setting will be an added advantage.<br>\u2022 Applicants must have great communication (written and verbal) skills, great interpersonal skills, and be customer focused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>POSITION: <strong>CHIEF OF SECURITY<\/strong><br><strong>Duties:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Ensure the safety of employees, company\u2019s properties and estates.<br>\u2022 Supervise tasks and assign activities to security officers.<br>\u2022 Organise rounds of inspection on security guards at their duty location.<br>\u2022 Prepare a duty roster and maintain records relating to duties of security guards.<br>\u2022 Investigate theft, pilfering, loss and assault and submit reports to management.<br>\u2022 Prepare and submit periodic reports on company\u2019s security and management reports.<br>\u2022 Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Qualifications\/Requirements:<\/strong><br>\u2022 Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field such as criminal justice, law enforcement, or security management.<br>\u2022 Previous experience in a leadership role within the security industry, with at least 5-10<br>\u2022 years of experience in a security-related field.<br>\u2022 Certification in security management, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP).<br>\u2022 Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.<br>\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team of security personnel.<br>\u2022 Ability to analyze and assess potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.<br>\u2022 Experience in developing and implementing security plans, policies, and procedures.<br>\u2022 Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security operations.<br>\u2022 Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.<br>\u2022 Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mode of application:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates should submit Cover Letters and updated Curriculum Vitae with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022\tNames and addresses of three referees;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022\tNational Identification Card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications can be sent electronically to<strong><em> hr@presbyuniversity.edu.gh<\/em><\/strong> or hard copies sent to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>THE REGISTRAR<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>PRESBYTERIAN UNIVERSITY, GHANA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">P.O BOX 59,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">ABETIFI-KWAHU<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadline : <strong>TUESDAY, 31ST DECEMBER 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Presbyterian University, Ghana invites applications for appointment to positions in the Registry.
