On Sunday, 3rd May 2026, the Presbyterian University Campus Christian Fellowship (PUCCF) held a solemn handing-over and induction ceremony for its newly elected executives during the Thanksgiving Service that climaxed the Chaplaincy Week celebration at the Okwahu Campus of Presbyterian University Ghana, Abetifi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was led by the Patron of the Fellowship Mr. Raymond Commodore, who first invited the outgoing executives, led by Mr. Isaac Orekan, President of PUCCF, to the front. In his brief address, the Patron highlighted the rich spiritual heritage of the Fellowship, reminding the congregation that PUCCF is affiliated with the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES), which is currently celebrating 60 years of impactful campus ministry across the nation. He further noted that GHAFES operates through zonal structures, with PUCCF belonging to the Mid-Ghana Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patron expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing executives for their sacrifice, dedication, and love for the Fellowship. He emphasized that their leadership went beyond organizing programs to touching lives, strengthening faith, and building a Christ-centered community on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University Chaplain, Rev. Emmanuel Misiame, offered a prayer for the outgoing team. He, together with Prof. John Adu Kumi, Dean, School of Business, and other staff members present, extended the right hand of fellowship in appreciation of the executives\u2019 committed service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the Patron introduced the newly elected executives, led by Maame Efua Odoom as President. The handing-over was conducted, marking a smooth transition of leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In charging the new executives, the Patron reminded them that leadership in the Fellowship is not merely a position but a divine calling that demands humility, prayerfulness, teamwork, and a genuine heart to serve. He encouraged them to remember that the Fellowship belongs to God, who remains its true head, and assured them that seeking His direction would grant them wisdom, unity, and success. As part of the Fellowship\u2019s vision to expand creative ministry and engage students through diverse expressions of faith, a new wing Choreography and Drama Group was also inaugurated to use creative arts as a tool for evangelism, discipleship, and impactful gospel communication on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University Chaplain then officially inducted the new executives into office. Again, together with Prof. John Adu Kumi and other staff members present offered the right hand of fellowship to warmly welcome the new leadership. In total, 27 executives were inducted into office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
