The Students\u2019 Representative council of the Presbyterian University College Ghana has held its awards night for the 2014\/2015 academic at the Ramseyer Training Centre Auditorium over the weekend. The event was to honour both teaching and non-teaching staff and also students who have academically distinguished themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event which attracted a sizable number of students was full of glitz and glamour. Students who thronged the venue were clad in breath-taking apparels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also in attendance were the President of the University, the Dean of Student Affairs and some members of staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

Very characteristic of most award nominations, the PUCG Awards night committee received a lot of flak from pockets of the student body after it released the nominations for the various categories especially the social awards. However at the end of the event most patrons had no qualms with the award winners for the various categories.<\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the University, Rev. Prof. Adow Obeng expressed his sincere appreciation to the SRC but also chided the organizers for the late start of the programme, when he was presented with a citation.<\/span><\/p>\n
