The Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) was\nadjudged Best Athletics Institution at the 2019 Private Universities Students\nAssociation of Ghana (PUSAG) Games held at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium from\n24th<\/sup> to 28th<\/sup> March, 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PUCG won seven trophies and over 30 medals from all the\nevents the University participated. Team PUCG won gold medals in Volleyball,\n100 metres, 400 metres, 200 metres, 4×100 metres, 4×400 metres, 400 metres and\n1500 metres events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seven trophies were from the following events: Handball\n(Male and Female), Volleyball (Male and Female), Table Tennis (Male and Female)\nand Best Institution in Athletics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coach of Team PUCG, Mr. James Bonn, who doubles as\nLecturer in the School of Business and Economics expressed appreciation to the\nUniversity Management for its support which produced the results from the\nathletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Bonn also thanked the students who sacrificed to represent\nthe University at the games for their hard work and discipline. He expressed\nthe appreciation when he led a section of the Team PUCG to present the laurels\nto the management of the University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of PUCG, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng thanked\nthe athletes for their sacrifices and discipline that ensured the sterling\nperformance at the games. He assured them of Management\u2019s support to make our\nathletes the best in the country at that level of participation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
