The\nManagement of Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) held a meeting with\nSenior Members of the University to brief them about the new educational\nreforms being implemented by the Ministry of Education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nSenior Members comprised Faculty and Administration from all the five campuses\nof the University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nPresident of PUCG, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng, who chairs the Centralised\nAdmissions and Placement Services (CAPS) setup by the Ministry of Education to\ndevelop, among other things, a Centralized University Admissions in Ghana\ninteracted with the Senior Members about the reforms.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev.\nProf. Adow Obeng briefed the members on the Public Universities Act which is\nbefore the Parliament of Ghana; the Centralised Admissions and Placement Services\n(CAPS); National Research Innovation Fund; the new required qualification for\nUniversity Lecturers by the National Accreditation Board and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A section of the Senior Members<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nRegistrar, Mrs. Mary Abena Agyepong implored the Senior Members to support\nManagement as it strategizes to reposition the University in line with the new\neducational reforms. She noted that such support will help the institution to\ncontinue to be a leading private university in Ghana.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n
