A\ntwelve-member delegation from the General Assembly Council of the Presbyterian\nChurch of Ghana (PCG), led by Rev. Dr. Anokye Nkwasah, paid a courtesy call on\nthe Management of Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) to interact\nwith them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rev.\nDr. Anokye Nkwasah, the Chairperson of the Asante Akyem Presbytery of P.C.G.\nsaid the visit was to inform the University of the 19th<\/sup> General\nAssembly, inviting the University to the General Assembly, and commend the\nUniversity Management and staff for their hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nleader of the delegation commended the University for its ranking as the 11th<\/sup>\nbest University out of over 150 universities in Ghana and 3rd<\/sup> best\nPrivate University in Ghana, in the latest report published by the Webometrics\nWorld Ranking of Universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On\nbehalf of the General Assembly Council, he promised an improved support to the\nUniversity by the Church in the subsequent years and implored the University to\ncontinue to work hard in order to achieve the objectives by which the PCG set\nup the University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nPresident of the PUCG, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng thanked the PCG for its\nsupport over the years and said the institution is looking forward to greater\nassistance from the Church so that it will achieve greater heights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nPresident thanked the GAC for the visit and assured the delegation that the\nUniversity will honour the invitation to the General Assembly which started\nfrom 16th<\/sup> August to 22nd<\/sup> August, 2019. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
