The Management of Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG)\nheld a meeting with Senior Members of the University to brief them about the\nnew educational reforms being implemented by the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Senior Members comprised Faculty and Administration from all\nthe five campuses of the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The President of PUCG, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng, who chaired\nthe Centralised Admissions and Placement Services (CAPS), setup by the Ministry\nof Education to develop a Centralized University Admissions in Ghana,\ninteracted with the Senior Members about the reforms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rev. Prof. Adow Obeng briefed the members on the Public\nUniversities Act which is before the Parliament of Ghana; the Centralised\nAdmissions and Placement Services (CAPS); National Research Innovation Fund;\nthe new required qualification for University Lecturers by the National\nAccreditation Board and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Registrar, Mrs. Mary Abena Agyepong implored the Senior\nMembers to support Management as it strategizes to reposition the University in\nline with the new educational reforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She noted that such support will help the institution to continue\nto be a leading private university in Ghana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
