The Presbyterian University College,\nGhana has established the Centre for the Promotion of Life Values which\ninculcates in its students moral values, discipline and hard work with the view\nto produce useful human resource for nation building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
PUCG and the New Educational Policy <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Touching on the new educational\npolicies by the Government of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. J. O. Y. Mante disclosed\nthat the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in collaboration with the Presbyterian\nUniversity College, Ghana is making efforts to adopt some of the Presbyterian\nColleges of Education if not all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Moderator appealed to the\nGovernment of Ghana to consider entering into partnership with the Private\nUniversities in ensuring that the Free SHS Programme is sustained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He believes that with the\nintroduction of the Centralized Admission Placement System (CAPS), the expected\nincrease in the enrolment into the various Universities in the 2020\/2021\nAcademic Year would not be a nightmare to parents and students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Rt. Rev. Prof. Mante said, contrary\nto assumptions that only the rich attend the private universities, many of the\nstudents at Presbyterian University College, Ghana are from average income and\npoor home and everything necessary should be done to give private universities\nfair share of students who would be seeking admission into these institutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To the Graduands <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Rt. Rev. Prof. Mante\ncongratulated the graduands for allowing themselves to be molded into men and\nwomen who can make great contributions to the building of the nation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n He said while they imagine their\nfuture and the world to come, they should look back and see PUCG as part of\ntheir future. \u201cYou will always be welcome here, and we look forward to hearing\nabout your personal and professional achievements as you build the foundation\nprovided by your PUCG degree,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Presbyterian University College, Ghana graduated 702 students at the 13th<\/sup> Congregation comprising 349 males and 353 females.65 graduands had first class while 326 got Second Class (Upper Division) with 295 graduating with Second Class (Lower Division). 14 of the graduating students had Third Class and two persons had Pass. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.presbyuniversity.edu.gh\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/A-section-of-the-graduands.jpg?resize=640%2C427&ssl=1\")
