The\n7th<\/sup> Council of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG),\nwas inaugurated on 3rd<\/sup> January, 2020, following the end of tenure of\nthe 6th<\/sup> Council on 31st<\/sup> October, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nInauguration was done at the Conference Hall of the Church House of the\nPresbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), at Kuku Hill, Accra. In all, twelve (12)\nmembers were inducted into Office as Members of the PUCG Council for a three-year\ntenure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nInduction Ceremony was officiated by the Moderator of the General Assembly of\nthe <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PCG,\nRev. Professor J. O. Y.  Mante, who was\nassisted by the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev Dr Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Handing\nover to the new Council Chairperson, the outgoing Chairman, Dr. Stephen Saforo\nYirenkyi, intimated that his handing over notes are extensive to assist the new\nCouncil to have a smooth start to their work. He wished the new Members of\nCouncil well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The\nnewly-inducted Council Members were advised to do everything possible to ensure\nthe continuous growth of the University, especially to maintain the good\nacademic performance of the University, and to strive to obtain a Presidential\nCharter for the University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The\nthree-year tenure of the 7th<\/sup> Council will come to an end on 31st<\/sup>\nOctober, 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
