The Executives of the Students\u2019 Representative Council (SRC) at the various campuses of the Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG) have elected Zotbah Jacob of Tema Campus as the University Unified SRC President for the 2023\/2024 Academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zotbah Jacob will represent the students at the Senate, which is the highest decision making body of the University and also the University Council during his tenure of office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other officers of the Unified SRC executives are Nyamekye Michael – 1st Deputy (Asante Akyem Campus), Edward Ansah Offei – 2nd Deputy (Okwahu Campus), Fosu Emmanuel Arnold \u2013 General Secretary (Okwahu Campus), Abbey Godfred Tetteh  – Financial Secretary (Tema Campus), Doh Paul Kwame Lebene \u2013 Treasurer  (Akuapem Campus) and Whitney Sampah \u2013 Public Relations Officer (Asante Akyem Campus).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Unified SRC works with the SRC management at the various campuses to ensure synchronised activities across board to ensure the welfare of students.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The elections were held at the annual Leadership Training Seminar (LTS), which is organised by the Chaplaincy Department of the University for all student leaders of the five campuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the topics handled at this year\u2019s LTS were Projecting PUG by the Public Relations Office; Proper Books of Accounts and Accountability by the Internal Audit Directorate; Servant Leadership by the Chaplaincy; Budgeting by the Directorate of Finance; Administrative Structure of the University by the Students and Academic Affairs Section, and the Information and Technology Systems by the I.T.S. Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LTS which was organised at the Okwahu Campus was attended by all the student leaders at the various campuses making it one of the most successful seminars in recent years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
