OKUSACA Donates Computers to PUCG

The Okuapeman Association of United States of America and Canada (OKUSACA) have donated eight HI-TECH computers, a laptop and assorted books to the Presbyterian University College Ghana (PUCG).

The items were presented by Nana Bosombra Bonsra, the leader of the Association, in a short ceremony at the office of the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana on 18th January, 2016.

Nana Bonsra said that the donation was in response to a request by the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church to the executives of Okusaca during his visit to the USA. The Association felt the burden of responsibility to help the University to build an enviable institution in the country.

He disclosed the Association’s interest to support the University in its quest to become the preferred Private University in Ghana and in West African sub-region.

The Moderator handed over the items to the PUCG and expressed his desire that the University wouldcontinue to receive more support from individuals, groups and institutions. He requested that the items be put to good use.

Prof. Edwin Akonno Gyasi, Chairman of the University Council, who received the items on behalf of the University thanked the Moderator and Okusaca for the item and promised that they will be put to good use.

Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng, the President of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana also expressed his gratitude to the Moderator and Okusaca and prayed for a more fruitful collaboration between the University, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and Groups like Okusaca.

The items were specifically donated to the Akuapem Campus of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana.
