Presbyterian University holds 21st Matriculation Ceremony

The Presbyterian University, Ghana held its 21st matriculation ceremony, enrolling a total of 1042 new students into various Faculties of the University.

As a multi-campus institution, the ceremony was done in a series of three, from the 22nd to 24th February, 2024 to cover all five campuses of the University.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. John Ofosu-Anim in his address welcomed the fresh students into the community of scholars, thinkers, and visionaries.

He acknowledged their commitment to learning, growth, and the pursuit of knowledge which fueled their choice to enroll in the University.

He added that as they are now part of a community that values curiosity, critical thinking, and the relentless pursuit of excellence, they should take advantage of the diverse academic programmes, the wealth of resources at their disposal, and the guidance of the esteemed faculty members who are not just teachers but mentors and guides in their academic journey.

Prof. Ofosu-Anim continued, “Our institution has a rich history of fostering intellectual curiosity and producing individuals who have gone on to make significant contributions to their respective fields. As you step into this hallowed institution, I urge you to carry the torch of curiosity forward.”

Stressing on the holistic education provided by the Presbyterian University, Ghana, the students were encouraged to engage in a holistic journey of self-discovery, personal development, and intellectual exploration.

In closing, the Vice-Chancellor reiterated that they were not just students but future leaders, innovators, and contributors to society, and thus, they make the most of their time here, not just in terms of academic achievements but also in the relationships they build, the lessons they learn, and the impact they make.
