GlobalPay– Policy

The following are the policies designated to govern the use of online payment platform.

1.   Definitions

i.   The words “You” and “Yours” refer to students who sign onto the online platform as authorized users.

ii.  The words “We”, “Us” and “Our” mean Presbyterian University College, Ghana.

2.   Student Liability

i.  If you believe your card or PIN has been stolen and we are informed within two business days after you learn of the theft, you would not be liable if someone uses your card or PIN without your permission.

ii.  If you do not tell us within two business days and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your card number and/or PIN without permission if you had told us, you could be liable to a sum to be determined from time to time.

3.   Confidentiality

You agree to the collection, use and sharing of information about your fund transfer transaction as provided in any Private Policy document of the service facilitator.

4.   Privacy

We respect and are committed to ensuring your privacy.  Your personal identifiable information may be collected in the process of funds transfers.  Other information would also be automatically recorded on our server from your browser. Your personally identifiable information will not be sold to anyone.

5.   Security

We will always keep your transaction and personal information safe.  Our software encrypts your personal information including credit card number name and address to prevent unauthorized access.

6.   Refund

All refunds will be provided as a credit to the card used at the time of payment within five (5) business days upon receipt of an approved request. Refunds of overpayment of fees could be provided as a credit in the subsequent semesters if student requests.
