Presbyterian University, Ghana, invites applications for appointments to position in the Registry.

POSITIONCHIEF OF SECURITY

Duties:

  • Ensures the safety of employees, University’s properties and estates.
  • Supervises tasks and assign activities to Security Officers.
  • Organizes rounds of inspection on Security Officers at their duty location.
  • Prepares a duty roster and maintain records relating to duties of Security Officers. 
  • Investigates theft, loss and assault and submit reports to Management.
  • Prepares and submit periodic reports on the University Security and management. 
  • Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field such as criminal justice, law enforcement, or security management.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the security industry, with at least 5-10

Years of experience in a security-related field.

  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team of security personnel.
  • Ability to analyze and assess potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Experience in developing and implementing security plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security operations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
