As part of the 2025 Akuapem Odwira Festival celebrations, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the Presbyterian University, Ghana – Akuapem (Akropong) Campus, on 22nd October 2025, embarked on an impactful Publicity Drive to promote the University’s academic excellence and community engagement.
The initiative, led by the SRC President, Sgt. Bless Kwabla Gbadago, who also serves as the Unified SRC President for all five campuses of the University, sought to create greater awareness of Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG) and its wide range of innovative and market-driven programmes.
In partnership with the Odwira Planning Committee, students of the Akuapem Campus supported the festival’s activities by offering ushering services during the Odwira Awukudae and engaging festival attendees with information on PUG’s programmes and admissions process.
Speaking during the drive, Sgt. Bless Kwabla Gbadago noted that,
“The Odwira Festival provided a unique opportunity to bring the vision and values of the Presbyterian University closer to the people. Our aim is to showcase the University’s commitment to excellence, ethics, and community development.”
The Presbyterian University, Ghana, currently operates five campuses across three regions of the country; Akuapem (Akropong) and Okwahu (Abetifi) Campuses – Eastern Region, Tema Campus – Greater Accra Region, Kumasi and Asante Akyem Agogo Campuses – Ashanti Region
