Presbyterian University Reflects on Achievements at End-of-Year Service

The University community gathered yesterday, 18th December 2025, at FF6 on the Okwahu Campus for a solemn yet uplifting End-of-Year Thanksgiving Service.

As part of the institution’s culture of staff morning devotions, which is observed every Monday and Thursday, the service brought together management and staff in a spirit of gratitude and reflection as the year drew to a close.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ofosu-Anim, while addressing the gathering, expressed heartfelt appreciation to God for His guidance and favour throughout the year. He also commended the management and staff for their unwavering dedication and hard work. He noted that their collective efforts have played a vital role in propelling the University to its present heights.

He highlighted several accomplishments during the year that underscore the University’s steady growth and commitment to academic excellence. Among these were the construction and completion of two modern lecture halls, as well as the construction and full equipping of a Skills Laboratory at the Asante Akyem Campus to enhance practical learning.

Prof. Ofosu-Anim further announced that management has procured cargo tricycles to enhance waste management operations at the Okwahu and Asante Akyem campuses. He added that the effective maintenance of the university’s fleet of vehicles and buses has ensured the safe and reliable transportation of students between hostels and the campus.

Again, the Vice-Chancellor mentioned the completion and furnishing of over thirty (30) rooms at the Premire Hostel to improve student accommodation. He reiterated the upward adjustment in staff salaries and explained that it affirms management’s commitment to staff welfare and motivation.

In his closing remarks, the Vice-Chancellor extended warm Christmas wishes to staff and their families. He encouraged the University community to celebrate the festive season responsibly, being guided by the core values of the University, which are Excellence, Commitment, Discipline, Integrity, and Faith in God.

He prayed for divine favour for everyone and admonished them to be mindful of their physical and spiritual well-being during the yuletide.
