Kwahu East DCE donates street lights to Presbyterian University, Ghana

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Kwahu East District, Mr. Isaac Agyapong has donated 30 pieces of street lights to the Okwahu Campus of Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG).

According to the DCE, the SRC of the Okwahu Campus paid a courtesy call on his office to introduce themselves as the newly inducted executives of the Okwahu Campus and made an appeal for street lights to serve the area leading to the student hostel.

Mr Agyapong said as the head of the District Security Council and an alumnus of PUG, he deemed students security an urgent need hence the donation of the street lights within two weeks of the request.

The Vice President of Presbyterian University, Ghana thanked the DCE for responding quickly to the students’ call and commended him for his support to the PUG and other institutions within his District.  

Receiving the street lights on behalf of the University, the SRC President of Okwahu Campus, Akuffo-Lokko Dwerebe Kwesi thanked the DCE for his response to the students’ request. He assured the DCE to count on the support of the students towards developing the District.
