Online Short Certificate Programme [ May 2022 Edition]

Centre for Continuous Professional Development (CCPD) is organizing 6 weeks of online certificate courses from Friday 27 May, 2022 to Saturday July 2, 2022. Lectures will be held online on Fridays, from 3 pm GMT to 6 pm GMT and Saturdays, from 10 am GMT to 1 pm GMT.


The cost per programme is ¢1000 per local participant and US$ 200 per international participant. PUCG alumni, PUCG students and Presbyterians will have a 25 % discount.


Certificate in Cyber Security Management

Rationale
Cyber security specialists capable of defending an organization against hackers, malware, and other information security risks are in high demand. There is the need to accelerate the creation of qualified cyber security experts capable of competing with bad actors or hackers on an ongoing basis.

Goal
This course is designed to provide learners with an in-depth overview of current cyber security management trends.

Learning Objectives
• To expose participants to the foundations of cyber security
• To equip participants with GRC Approach to Managing Cybersecurity
• To equip participants with Network Security Management skills
• To empower participants with Cyber security Incident and Disaster Management skills.

Rationale
Public relations have a far greater potential and responsibility in our society than is realized. The
emergence of a diversified publics, paid media, owned media, and earned media has necessitated
the need for more effective public relations and strategic communications. Today’s competitive
business environment increasingly puts pressure on communication managers to demonstrate in a
measurable way how the results from public relations programs benefit the organizations they
serve. This course is to give participants a better view of contemporary Public Relations and
Strategic Communications.
