The GCB Bank has donated a 43 inch Nasco LED television set, 50 boxes of bottled water and GH₵2,000 towards the 12th Congregation Ceremony of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) to be held on 3rd November, 2018 at the Okwahu Campus, Abetifi Kwahu.
The GCB Bank is sponsoring the prize for the overall best graduating student with the 43 inch LED TV while the boxes of bottled water and the cash donation are to support the entire ceremony.
The Manager of the Mpraeso Branch of the Bank, Mr. Isaac Aboagye Agyemang, praised the relationship between the Bank and the University, and said the gesture was in support to the University’s 12th Congregation ceremony.
Presenting the items to the Management of the University, Mr. Aboagye encouraged the University to continue its good work in providing quality education especially to the people in peri-urban communities.
The Registrar of the University, Mary Abena Agyepong (Mrs.) in receiving the items on behalf of the Management expressed gratitude to the GCB Bank Limited for supporting the 12th Congregation Ceremony.
“We hope that the GCB Bank will continue to assist PUCG in all its areas of development to ensure that the University continues its mandate of providing holistic education that ensures that students do not only acquire knowledge and skills but also become morally upright for the good of society”, the Registrar underscored.
