A five-member delegation from the General Assembly Council of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) on Wednesday, 12th August 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG) ahead of the Church’s 26th General Assembly, scheduled to take place at the Ramseyer Training Centre.

The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to engage the University’s leadership on the progress, development, needs and challenges of the University.
During the engagement, the Vice-Chancellor of Presbyterian University, Ghana briefed the delegation on the significant progress made by the University and highlighted key areas requiring attention and support to enable the institution to continue its growth and fulfil its mandate.
The Vice-Chancellor also outlined some of the current needs and challenges facing the University, noting the importance of continued collaboration and support from the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and its leadership in strengthening the University’s operations and development.

The engagement further reaffirmed the strong relationship between the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and Presbyterian University, Ghana, with both institutions committed to advancing the vision of providing quality education grounded in Christian values, academic excellence and responsible leadership.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation to the seven-member delegation for the visit and wished the leadership, delegates and participants a fruitful, successful and impactful 26th General Assembly.
