The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rt. Rev. Prof. J. O. Y. Mante donated an amount of GHC250.000 to the Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) towards the completion of the Premier hostel at the Okwahu Campus of the University.
The donation was made at a ceremony at the Hill View Guest Centre, Abokobi on Tuesday, 6th July, 2021 during consultative meeting by the Church for its educational institutions. The PCG also made motley donations to the rest of the institutions.
The donation from the Church to the PUCG is the third over the last 15 months amounting one million Ghana cedis towards the construction of the hostel facility.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the University, the President of PUCG, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng expressed his gratitude to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and the Moderator for the timely gesture.
He assured the Church that the money will be put to good use to ensure that the hostel is completed on schedule.
