Presbyterian University College, Ramseyer Training Centre Sign MoU

The Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG) and the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC) have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to run Professional Development Certificate and Diploma programmes of Agents and workers of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

The Professional Development Certificate and Diploma programmes which is also open to people of other denominations and the general public aim at offering training in contemporary and relevant Ministry skills.   

The MoU also seeks to use the facilities available to both institutions to organize periodic Certificate and Diploma programmes for the members of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, which will lead to the award of Certificate and Diploma level certificates to deserving participants.

Addressing the members of the Implementation Committee (IC), the President of PUCG, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng said the partnership between the two institutions would go a long way in training human resource for the Church.

Rev. Gideon Puplampo, the Director of the Ramseyer Training Centre, noted among other things that the partnership would improve the impact of the two institutions on society and the Church, imploring the IC to work hard and make the MoU functional.

The maiden Certificate programmes in Counselling and Coaching, Biblical Interpretation, and Church Leadership and Administration which start from 29th April, 2021 to 1st May, 2021 at the RTC for both online and sit-in modules has registered over 300 participants.
