The Executive Committee of the SRC General Assembly of the Presbyterian University College, Ghana has been inducted into office to serve one-year term covering the 2015/2016 Academic year.
The General Assembly, the unified body of the Students Representative Council, is made up of 116 members representing the various Campus SRCs of the University.
The induction of the General Assembly Executive Committee into office was performed by the Dean of Students, Mr. Odei Bempong at a short ceremony.
The ceremony formed part of the University’s Family and Covenant Service held on 4th October, 2015 at the Okwahu Campus.
The Executive Committee of the General Assembly for the 2015/2016 Academic year is headed by Takyi Theophilus (President) with Enock Asiedu Osafo (Vice President one), and Dela Gaisie (Vice President two).
Other members of the Executive Committee are Belinda Formaa (Secretary), Kateye Katherine Kaki (Deputy Secretary), Fortune Ayoroh (Deputy Secretary two), Victoria Ofori Duah (Financial Secretary), Gerdy Narteky Tetteh (Treasurer) and Kelvin Afrane (Public Relations Office).
Being the highest decision-making body of the Students body of the entire University, the General Assembly oversees projects of the SRCs and makes decisions concerning student welfare to improve the conditions of the students of the University.
