PUCG Presents Plaques to SEF Media Partners

The President of Presbyterian University College, Ghana (PUCG), Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng has presented PUCG Plaques to some media houses that partnered the University to organize a successful Students Entrepreneurship Fair (SEF) at the Okwahu Campus this year.

The Media Houses which were honoured for sponsoring publicity activities of the Fair were Obuoba FM, Okwahu FM, Life FM, Delight FM and Agoo FM.

In an interaction with representatives of some of the media houses, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng expressed gratitude to the FM stations and other partners for the support which contributed to the success of the maiden Students Entrepreneurship Fair.

The President implored them to use their platforms to inform the general public the impact the University is making on society. He explained that the Presbyterian Church of Ghana set up most of the campuses of the University in semi-urban areas in order to provide top level education for people in these areas, create economic opportunities, as well as provide leadership for social transformation.

 Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Adow Obeng disclosed that the SEF is one of the means to create economic opportunities for students as well as people in the local communities, hence the need for support from the media to make this objective a reality.

The President said, the University looks forward to a fruitful partnership with the media for a successful Students Entrepreneurship Fair in the year 2020.

The representatives of Obuoba, Delight and Okwahu FM stations expressed appreciation to the University for recognizing their efforts to make the University achieve its objectives. They promised the Management of the University their support and fruitful partnership.
