On Sunday, 3rd May 2026, the Thanksgiving Service that brought the Chaplaincy Week celebration to a close at the Okwahu Campus, Abetifi featured a formal handing-over and induction of newly appointed student executives by the Okwahu Campus Chaplaincy Committee.
The Chaplaincy Committee, made up of representatives from all denominational and interdenominational Christian groups on campus, used the occasion to reaffirm its shared commitment to unity, spiritual growth, and collaborative ministry within the University community.
The newly inducted executives is led by Rev. Stanley Tetteh as Student Chaplain and assisted by Maame Afua Odoom as Deputy Student Chaplain. The team comprises representatives from the various Christian group ie. National Union of Presbyterian Students, Ghana (NUPS-G), Charismatic Students Fellowship (CHARI), and the Presbyterian University Campus Christian Fellowship (PUCCF) at the Okwahu Campus, reflecting the inclusive and cooperative spirit of campus ministry at Presbyterian University Ghana, Abetifi.

Prayers were offered by the University Chaplain, Rev. Emmanuel Misiame, for both the outgoing and incoming executives. The University Chaplain was joined by Prof. John Adu Kumi, Dean of the School of Business, alongside other staff members, heads of the various Church groups and the Students Association extended the right hand of fellowship to the Newly inducted Students Executives as a sign of support and encouragement to the new leadership.

The ceremony underscored the strong sense of partnership among the Christian bodies on campus and the Chaplaincy’s ongoing dedication to nurturing faith-driven leadership among students.
