Presbyterian University College, Ghana attains Presidential Charter

The Presbyterian University College Ghana (PUCG) has received the Presidential Charter making it a full-fledged University that will now award its own degrees rather than through  affiliate Universities as required of all private University Colleges without a Charter.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, presented the Charter Certificate to the University on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at a brief presentation ceremony at the Jubilee House.

The Chancellor of the University who doubles as the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante received the Charter Certificate from the President. With him were the Chairman of the University Council; His Lordship Justice Professor Emmanuel Nii Ashie Kotey, President of the University; Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu and other Council and Management members.
